Born in North Bay, Ont. she was the loving daughter of Betty Russell-Clements London, Ont., and the late Frederick L. Russell. 	Edith Lily Smart June 24, 1923 - January 17, 2007 Huntsville, Ontario The death occurred of Edith Lily Smart, 83, on January 1, 2007 at Muskoka Landing. The deceased was born in Georgetown, Ontario on June 24, 1923, the daughter of Lily and John Crawford. She married Fred Smart on July 23, 1941 in Toronto. Her husband predeceased her on November 4, 1988. Mrs. Smart is survived by four sons and three daughters, Joan Pearson of Novar, Jack (Sandy) Smart of Mississauga, Frank (Peggy) Smart of Burlington, Holly (Arden) Pigott of Oshawa, Kim (Allan) Martin of Markdale, Chris (Margaret) Smart of Brampton and Tim (Gloria) Smart of Smithville. She was a sister to Peter, Jim, Dot and Bill. Predeceased by siblings Harold, Flo, Walter and Andy. Predeceased by her son Bob Smart and daughter Wendy Smart. Cherished grandmother of 19 and great-grandmother of eight. Mrs. Smart was a homemaker extraordinaire, a member of Emsdale United Church, Huntsville Friendship Luncheons and Early Bird Lap Swim in Huntsville.
